Re-tighten every 6- 10 weeks is necessary to keep it tight and hidden.

How long does it take to apply the extensions?
It takes approximately 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 hours to apply a braidless weave to a full head (depending on how thin or thick your own natural hair is).

Does it hurt to apply the microlinks or weft?
No! They are applied close to your scalp for the longest wear so it does feel a bit tight but that feeling will go away in a few days.

How long does the braidless weave last?
These stay flawless as they grow out but a re-tighten is recommended every 6-10 weeks. By then your hair will start to grow out and the tracks won’t be as close to your head any more. This can be uncomfortable and will also increase the risk of tangles and matting. a complete removal and install is recommended every 4- 6 months.

How is the braidless weave removed?
It is highly recommended to come in to get them removed properly to avoid the chance of damaging or accidentally cutting your hair during the removal process.  We will start by carefully removing the seams and taking the weft out. Then the microlinks are squeezed back into a circle and slid out leaving the natural hair healthy, intact and unstressed.

- When you wash your hair, only wash it in one direction with the natural flow of your hair. None of that crazy hair-scrunching lathering. You will end up getting badly tangled extensions if you wash your hair like that. Be gentle,  hair shrinks when it’s wet therefore the extensions will be a little looser and could slip down.

- Only use professional-quality products. Supermarket shampoos just don’t cut it for extensions – for starters, products with lots of silicone can cause the extensions to slip. Don’t apply shampoo or conditioner over the extensions, mid-shaft to ends only. AVOID sulphate, oil and alcohol based products.
