Salon Policies
– Please refer to our art application breakdown to determine how long of a nail service to book. Nail art is priced per finger or per minute, choose what you like carefully, there are no free re-dos if you change your mind the next day.
-Gratuities are not included in salon pricing and are always appreciated!
– Application based fixes are free within the first two weeks. This does not include nails damaged due to picking, biting or client over-filing. Art re-application is also not included. Nail fixes are $10 per finger.
– Files are always given to the client after their appointment, please bring it if you need a fix. If you do not bring a file to your fix there will be a $5 charge for the file.
– If you don’t up show or call 24 hours ahead to cancel your appointment you will be subject to a no-show fee of half the service cost and asked to prepay your next appointment. If this happens more than once we will not be able to be re-book you.
– Late arrivals – If you are less than 15 minutes late we will perform an adjusted service but if you are more than 15 minutes late we will need to reschedule the appointment and the no-show fee will apply.
-We ask that only clients with services booked attend appointments. If you are planning on bringing a friend or children with you please ask in advance, yes we are a salon but we are small and certain considerations must be made as our space and appointment times are limited.
– If you are not happy with your service please do not hesitate to let us know, as we guarantee our work. We do not offer refunds so please choose your designs mindfully. If you are happy with your service please let others know, we offer great referral programs and discounts for appointments booked together.
Nail Time Breakdown
-At Obsession you will NOT receive express nails. We do not offer that service as it takes time to do good nails. All our nails and smile-lines are hand sculpted to our clients preference as we take the time to find out what YOU want! We refuse to skip steps or rush an appointment so please allow enough time for everything you are wanting done.
Gel Overylay: 30 minutes
Full Set – Standard (short):
Sculpted fullset: 1 -1 1/2 hours depending on shape and design. Add time for art.
Fill: 1 hour – 1 1/2 hours depending on shape and design. Add time for art.
Shape Change: Depending on length and style being changed to add 15 – 30 minutes.
Nail Art: $1 per minute for chromes, powders, effects etc. $1 per minute for hand drawn.
General Time Estimates: Diamonds: 2 fingers add 5 minutes.
Stamp Art: 2 fingers add 4 minutes.
Stickers: 2 fingers add 6 minutes.
Line Work: 2 fingers add 10 minutes.
Marble: 2 fingers add 4 minutes.
Custom Smileline: 2 fingers add 3 minutes.
Custom Nail Shape: 2 add 15 minutes.
Imbedded sparkles/foil: 2 fingers add 10 minutes.
Imbedded 3D Art: 2 fingers add 15 minutes.
Sculpted Acrylic 3D Art: 2 fingers add 10 minutes.
****Remember when combining more than one type of art to account for how long it will take to do each individual art type on top of the time it takes to do a regular fill*****
